Not sure if it was ever made into an anime, but the manga of Battle Royale was possibly the most fucked up thing I have ever read(at least in the top 5). Hunger Games was a freaking pinic in the park by comparison.
Bulbasaur: grass/poison is terrible, but the first time I saw him as a kid I thought he was friggin awesome. Plus he's the perfect noob starter for the first 2 gyms; and he's the first Pokemon! The very first! That's got to be worth something right?
Out on a camping trip and cooking some delicious bacon on a griddle, completely forget that I'm cooking it and wander off to do something. I come back to a grease fire, after an "oh shit" moment I put it out, and am left with nothing but a pile of black ash that used to be bacon.
Just started Silent Hill 2; after hearing so many people gush over it I finally decided "Fuck it! I'll see what all of the fuss is about". So far it genuinely is creepy as all hell, though I wonder if some of that isn't because I play at night with all the lights off.

Completely unscripted which made it all the more scary, was playing Condemned Criminal Origins(the good one) and I literally jumped at my own on-screen shadow. Yes a game made me scare myself.

I stepped on a giant-ass rattlesnake barefoot, calmy walked to the house to grab the shotgun, did a power-walk over to the snake and blew its fuckin head off. Then I ate it, felt like a complete badass that day.
