When reading this, I'm amazed that in many of the categories there were no serious contenders at all: proof of a slow year. For the remainder I agree with most all of the winners.
I've read The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillon and the Children of Hurin each multiple times and though I've discovered series I like better I've always gone back to the source.
I would put Paranormal Activity and Drag Me to Hell in there just because they weren't your standard hollywood horror-gore movie. Coraline also deserves a Gottsmik-aprroved stamp.
Also I find Inglourious Basterds glouriously overrated.
Purely game mechanics I would say none.
But....
Sniper, because the players who play them are egotistical, predictable fracks mostly who rather go for the kill than the team win. And they are the only class in my humble opinion which can't claim a flag or point. Also in a match in five on...
