it was a hardcore game in disguise, which in retrospect is the point of a lot of people in this thread lol. Play it on God Hard, and you'll see. it quickly turns into contra in 3D.
it was just an expression, i really don't have much of a problem with tubes' in COD, but generally any OP weapon in any game is called a noob tube, well at least they used to be. And i don't me OP as just easy to use or strong, but actually game breaking.
Do you even know what's a...
you have a solid point there(besides MvC3, that game is hardly a difficult fighter to me at least. They removed a lot of what made MvC a really hard fighting game, but thats just nitpicking)
perhaps you're right, and my views on hardcore gaming are just jaded by a lot of my favorite...
well i guess thats just our differing opinion of what the gaming market is now. It transcends difficulty and mechanics, but also just the overall quality of gaming. Devs can get away with things like releasing "new" DLC a month after a game's release or selling content keys for games because...
well, since beating Vanquish on God Hard has only been done by less than 200 people world wide including myself, i consider that pretty hardcore. but that's just me.
And i never said those weren't hard at all did i? no
never said that, you guys are missing my point. I'm not saying games need to be a certain way, just making an observation on how the gaming world is changing and how its going to effect us. Granted I'd like them to be a certain way, but thats prety damned self serving.
and hardcore gaming...
don't get me wrong, i have nothing against anyone playing a game, i never said that. what i have a problem with is devs selling out to newcomers like this in order to increase profits. Im not going to go beat down the door of someone because they cheese me in a game, its the devs fault for...
well i never really defined what hard core was outside of being difficult, which is pretty vauge.
Imo its really just any game that takes dedication to master, and also rewards you for it(for example not losing to cheese tactics that a casual would use since they don't understand the game...
for a simple reason really, now that video games have become a profitable market, there really is no incentive to make a good hardcore game anymore that really pleases an increasingly niche section of gamers. Every year i see less and less hardcore games coming out( i think the last one i...
Every Assassin's Creed game and that horrible cell shaded PoP
they should of just kept making prince of persia games and stayed with the over the top mechanics, not this new lame wanna be parkour bullcrap.
And that cell shaded PoP doesn't count. You cant die, wtf is that????
the other name for the ball game is roll away btw, forgot to specify lol.
and oh my goodness, with a lucky long google search i found the game i was looking for on this page:
http://retro-sanctuary.com/Top-100-PS1-Games-Page-1.html
the game i was looking for is called Wild 9. do you...
I know a lot of the earlier requests in this thread, so here's some
to the guy asking about a game where you play 2 people and you fight a witch at the end, its an old 2D coop game made by namco called Pino and Acha, its the japanese take on hansel and gretel i guess lol. I played it in one...
