Lots of names to check ? thanks.
Gothic seems interesting: "The game places a special focus on the interactivity of the environment."
I thought the first post was pretty describing already. Diablo doesn't have the role-playing elements I'm looking for and I'm not interested of emulators...
Quoted: Planescape: Torment's gameplay often focuses on the resolution of quests through dialogue rather than combat, and many of the game's combat encounters can be resolved or avoided through dialogue or stealth.
Well it seems like there is more to the game than just roaming and combat...
Forgot about that one completely. I liked KOTOR 2 but for some reason haven't finished the first one yet. Will give it a shot.
Finished all three, but yes that would be a good example too of what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for a PC RPG where you actually make choices during the game that somehow affect the character or the game world. Good examples being Mass Effect and Dragon Age. JRPG's are fine too as long there is a translation available.
Here's couple games I've played that fit the kind of game...
Looks like we're back to the moral choice system of baby eating or mother Teresa. Hopefully the gameplay improvements will compensate for the story even a little. Ordered BioShock 2 just recently, haven't tested it yet.
