You do know that you can still play WoW fully without paying one extra penny? Blizzard will never, yeah nevah, implement microtransactions which will give real gameplay benefits over other players. That would be the real opposite of their gameplay above all mantra (or something like that)

The main reason I can think if why it won't (atleast for triple A titles) is the lack of GPU processing power in the current consoles. But you won't hear Microsoft say that PC's can do this soon without those limitations :)
