    I agree, loading pistol mags one handed is a pain, but doable. Manipulation (clearing a jam, reloading, that sort of thing) as well as firing of a semi-auto pistol one handed is tricky, but also very doable. I'd avoid revolvers personally, because you need your other hand to hold the open...
