    The Greatest Videogame Heist Ever

It sounds more like they exploited the shared resources system (however it works) than actually finding a clever way to realistically rob the corporation. More importantly, I do not like how a 'hit' involves stealing 20 billion of game currency in assets. I can appreciate the gravity of the...

    Intelligent Design != Science

Seconded. Anyway, I was under the impression that intelligent design is incongruous with science because a basic facet of science is that something must be testable. You cannot test the existence of a creator. True or Untrue, it's outside of science.

    Poll: Mirror's Edge

I liked the story mode, but the Speed Runs and Time Trials are the most outrageously difficult things I've ever seen, so that lowered my opinion of the game overall.

Which game has the best reload system?

I was starting to wonder if any games actually did that. The number is a lot less than I would have expected, at the least. Directly on topic, I suppose I like MGS4 reload animations, though I don't play many shooters, and am somewhat bias towards the Tanegashima.

Which video game character are you?

I am similar to King Bohan, in a good way, if that's conceivable.

The very preemptive yet hopefully official Mirror's Edge Thread

I don't understand the problem. He likes explosions, Mirror's Edge is not about that. He would rather play a game more fitting to his interests. How is that any different from any person who prefers anything over anything else choosing that thing they prefer?

The very preemptive yet hopefully official Mirror's Edge Thread

I watched the IGN review. Short, repetitive gameplay, an unspectacular story, and somewhat shallow controls seem like valid justification for a score of 7.3. Does that mean it isn't a fun, solid game to run through and have a great time with? Of course not. It just means it's somewhat average...

    Variable Values of Videogames.

    1. My computer hasn't failed to play anything yet, so no. 2. DLC is relative to how much you like the game. It's usually more of the same, so if you liked the base, you'll like the additions. Mods more often do things the developers are specifically not going to do, giving a creative edge and...

    A True Stress Relieving Game

I don't play games to relieve stress, but if I were going to, I imagine Heavenly Sword would be good at it. It's hard to have stress when faced with that level of grace.

    Star Wars

Knights of the Old Republic 2, hands down. The original comes in as a close second, but was too generic (or was 2 just incredibly amazing?). Let's just call the KoTOR series a safe bet in general. Shame Obsidian isn't making the third, though.

    Little Big Planet

That doesn't mean a quick, mandatory patch wouldn't have sufficed. A disk-recall is hardly necessary. I'm blaming Sony executives for this one.

    Little Big Planet

L.B. Jeffries: I agree with you, but the "principle" does not apply. The only reason the user average is being questioned is because the users cannot have possibly played the game, not to assure positive consensus. If, hypothetically, the game had been released, and they all could have played...

    Little Big Planet

The game might deserve an average of 95 and Universal Acclaim, or it might not. The point is that the user reviewers cannot possibly know one way or another, so the score has nothing to do with the game quality, and has no credibility whatsoever. The score is not being declared incorrect...

    Little Big Planet

No. It was like that before the absurd Muslim fiasco. They're not. A Metacritic Staff Member made a special note on LittleBigPlanet saying they weren't. The phenomenon is still a curiosity, though.

    Kamikaze!!!!!

When I play Zombies via Metal Gear Online, I usually just improvise a clever hiding spot until everyone else is a Zombie. Then, if they can't find me after a minute or two, I'll appear in a glorious last stand.
