Actually that is a good and accurate sum-up of the game. I agree with you.

Well comes down to it...Wing Commander (Back when EA supported originality and good game design) was a great series. Seeing it remade would be fantastic! There is a dire lack of Space sims and good flight sims now...tossing this classic oldie would be great. Then again Lucasarts could revive...
