Can someone explain how I would go about turning of the 3d on the 3ds just to make the experiance of games where I have to flail the console about less of an issue. The manual says I can just lower the slider but while the 3d effect is low it is still there. Is there a way to swap between 3d and 2d?
I personally prefer the more classic type as the later you mentioned and while I see what you mean by them being less obvious nowdays some games do strech the definistion of a platformer to far, for example the Arkham Asylum is classed as a platform game when searched for on a 360.

I kids do that to you then it's your own fault for not retaliating, it may be a form of "monkey see, monkey do" when they first learn the actions but not challanging them and telling them it is wrong when they carry them out is more the problem.
