That press conference torpedoed my interest in the rift. So they raise the price of the Rift and call the controller free. Microshaft keeps trying to push it's xbox brand into PCs and it's really starting to piss me off. I don't want your brand, service, console or controller anywhere near my...
Yes Microsoft, good good. Keep screwing over your customer base in the name of squeezing every cent you can out of them. It's not like there are better gaming platforms your customers could leave you for.........What's that?...Steam summer sale starts soon?...No fees for online play?...Better...
This right here is a significant part of the reason I gave up on consoles. The last one I owned was a 360, I was sick of having no control and having Microsoft (or Sony for when I had a PlayStation) make these decisions for me. The user interface was bad (I wanted the original "blade" UI back)...
True, but at the same time, when designing the PS4 Sony made the call to use a 2.5" drive over a 3.5", I assume to keep to overall size of the box down. If they were willing to sacrifice a little bulk, a larger drive would've be an option. Of course it would also be more expensive, but Sony...
Well it looks like I won't be bothering with future batman games (and whatever else they publish), I don't like them enough to deal with another steam clone.
(This is assuming they go the Uplay/Origin route, the possibility that it will be decent exists, but I am not optimistic)
This right here is exactly the kind of crap I stopped buying games at release in almost all cases over. Yes it means I am behind six months to a year sometimes more on games I want to play, but I will gladly take that and pay a reasonable price for a complete game without slices cut off to be...
You seem to be under the impression that a good PC for gaming and "a really fucking good PC that can handle multiple design programs" are two entirely different things, when if fact, apart from a few fringe cases they are one and the same thing.
Many of the components that make a PC good for...
1)The statement "because as we all know, no game looks better on PC." is provably false. Yet it is a statement that seems to pop up a lot from people attempting to make consoles sound better than they are. Many games look better on PC out of the box, and many of those that don't, hi-res texture...
Frankly sir, that just sounds like an ignorant hate speech. First off, if you are playing on console I can guarantee you that my Skyrim looks a lot better than your Skyrim and the same goes for a lot of other games also (I just like to use Skyrim as an example).
Secondly yes we are not...
At the 8 minute mark, yes greg, Irish listeners, we do exist as it turns out :D
And yea, calling X beverage "Irish" to mean added alcohol is not a thing over here.
Okay, I am calling it now. In about a year or so they will add support for a proprietary external drive, the drive itself will be a standard one but they will be selling the enclosure at a ridiculous markup. And they will not support standard external drive enclosures.
Well the way the new console generation is shaping up, either it gets a PC port or I'm not buying it. I don't care how good the game is, still not worth getting a xbone or ps4 in their current state.
