Well thanks for all the useful input everyone....

I'm not convinced it does detract from the reading experience you know. I used to say the same, but I do read an awful lot of books, they just clog up my house once they're done, and are quite expensive. As much as I treasure the smell and feel of a new book or the broken in dust of an old one...

....Or should I just not bother perhaps?
