The danish word for honework "Lektier". It's pronounced something along the lines of "lec-shee-ar", in a horrible lisp way, like Sid the Sloth from Ice Age, and it just ticks me off. Having such an ugly word for, in my opinion, pointless and boring tasks doesn't help.
