I think it would be cool and fit in fine if Link was a female in some Zelda games. Though I don't get why Bob thought Link looked female in the trailer, just looked like regular old Link to me.
To be fair to bob, at the time he stated PC gaming was dying, PC gaming was very much in trouble. Few would have predicted it would have come back as strong as it has.
I've watched a few episodes of the Game Overthinker, but every time I just skip the parts with the sketches and watch the actual discussion of the subject matter. Even then GO never seems to get into the kind of depth The Big Picture does, it's more generalised statements of what Bob's thinking...
I really only buy Halo and Pokemon day 1.
Halo because they're my favorite games and I get the legendary editions which are mostly pre-order anyway. And the last Pokemon games were the only ones I bought on the first day.. because unlike the last few times I had money and wasn't skeptical...
We really shouldn't speak as though nothings being done the federal attorney general is doing a surprisingly noble thing pushing for this, despite the fact those who oppose it are in the same party, only separate branch, particularly when they have nothing to gain from going through with it.
I only play when I have free time, and even then I rarely do.
And whats with this whole idea of "more noobs ruin it"? The whole mmo genre is based around increasing it's user base. If you are better then other players, then truth is no one cares but you, and it isnt going to lower your fun.
I wouldn't really, as many of its best exclusive titles have a history of jumping over.
At the moment I would put Microsoft second, but this could easily change, as both sony and Microsoft fair the same on this issue.
Its just SA, the opposition doesn't support it either.
I guess its just South Australian politicians trying to feel relevant again, something that hasn't been the case since the 70s.
I agree with you that when compared to the more serious issues a government must deal with, (pretty much everything else), that the push for a R18 rating is pretty irrelevant, but there's no reason why they shouldn't do it as its such a small task and could easily be done, and wouldn't hinder...
You are absolutely right Macgyvercas, but unfortunately our federal Constitution and all the separate state constitutions cause very vague as to how you go about this kind of thing.
And no the no Australian government has really said it would change its stance, the most any has gone is the...
I'm not surprised, it'll be years before we have a R18 rating, simply because the people making the decision is made by people who believe the huge majority of those who play games (I wont use the term gamer because I'm certain they think there's no such thing as a gamer)are young children...
