The Longest Journey and Dreamfall influenced my life greatly. Like LiquidGrape said on the first post, i cannot understate how important this franchise is to me.
modern warfare 2, driver 2 and tom clancy's H.A.W.X had some levels where you could play in brazilian territory. Nothing really impressive though, and that's one of the reasons why i'm excited about max payne 3: i want to see if they do it right.
How could i forget those two games! Unfortunately, i wasn't able to finish planescape because of a "little problem" i had with a quest. Killed someone i shouldn't, but the game didn't warn me he was important, i swear!
Now, thief 2 is my favorite. It's like the first one, but they did...
Restart? Oh god, they would never do that!
Now come on! Rio isn't that bad, the risk of you getting hit by a stray bullet is very low, much higher than if you are in a developed city in a developed country, but still low.
And don't forget that stereotypes spoil the fun. Have you ever...
and you think there are no "RIGHTWING EXTREMIST RADIOSTATIONS" in Brazil? Radiostations are much worse here (i live in Brazil), my god, they indeed are!

Rockstar's talked up the radical change in setting for Max Payne 3, which moves shop from New York City to Brazil's Sao Paulo.
The game's art director told Edge in its latest issue...
Jungle? São Paulo is the 6th largest city in the world. I've been there and i can say that, if they do it right, they can do justice to max payne 1 and 2.
I just hope Max won't be killing drug dealers in favelas. Modern warfare 2 and other games did that already.
