I second this. It's very important for game characters (especially the protagonist) to make some kind of connection to the gamer (at least for me) so that I would care for my character. Also, it's better for the "story" of the game itself.
Would also appreciate it if there were voice overs...
Indeed. Most reviews from companies backed by big corporations are biased but only to a certain extent. Did you hear about the Gamespot reviewer who got fired for giving a bad review for a game that was an advertiser for Gamespot? - exactly.
EXACTLY. This has really surprised me. I mean, I HATE zynga and they're dubious almost "scamming" way of earning money. How could you do this Google? T_T
This is actually quite interesting that the JRPG took inspiration from a western RPG. I thought almost a lot of the Western games took inspiration FROM japanese games. I mean, the RPG were first famous in Japan anyway.
Well no matter how sophisticated they're doing it, it's going to be hacked (in my opinion). Not that I want to but that's also how to sell the hardware. The PS3 initially got pwnd because the blueray discs were a little harder to pirate and look where they are now..
I just hope people would...
Holy crap. These videos make me more excited about the Nintendo 3DS. I don't have an extra 3D glasses laying around here so I can't exactly see the 3D effects of the video but it looks very promising.
