I'd say that Shinjiro Aragaki from Persona 3, and Auron from Final Fantasy X are leagues above the cliched and average characters in the poll. Both have alot of grit and are real symbols of strength and badassery. Auron could kick Master Cheap's arse any day, and cut Dante in half three times...
