M&K = Mouse and Keyboard :D.
And Black Ops 2 looks like its quality again finally since COD4.
(played COD4 SP only and it was dumb fun, Black Ops 2 looks like its worth a rental)
I was going to rent it for Ps3 but this article saved me 8$ or so!
I suspect you want to quote Li Mu here.
Anyway we are in agreement here. Beth games are actually shitty ports where as Dark Souls is perfectly playable.
(Although not with M&K, that I concede they should have done better)
OP the Warhammer franchise starts out childish, because of the tabletop game and its basic setting for "huge miniture battles".
But Dan Abnett and Sandy Mitchell and other Black Library authors take the childish premise and just write amazing stories in a future where only War and Darkness exists.
First point, yes I know PC is different.
And I agree on the whole.
But the thing is is that PC and Xbox have deep similarities in everything so ports generally work well enough.
Hence the blaming of the devs.
Also I don't know much on the subject of supposed hardware difficulties Ps3's...
So when PC users blame devs for shitty ports, they must accept their platform sucks ass too?
That its hard as hell to develop for? And sucks development money?
So there is a double standard for consumer rights because of the platform?
Nice logic there.
Oh and anyone with half a brain would...
What I think is stupid is this argument.
The developers want more money therefore it has to be multiplatform, it is easier to make a version directly 1:1 on all platforms, it is more fair too.
Even PC exclusives aren't using all the hardware available, did Starcraft 2 or Diablo 3 use all the...
But will the publisher look at that?
I think everyone should have brought boxed copies >.>
(Well I believe that boxed copies should actually have almost no DRM but that is just unreasonable since Steam is so much better /sarcasm)
I wonder if they could even count copies sold on Steam, or any digital platform.
Because if they don't this is all an exercise in futility :/
Well for anyone who cared.
Which is why people should keep on trying I personally don't care about most of these issues, they are not a problem for me but I understand them a little thanks to Totalbiscuit.
Which is why I keep on making it clear that most of the things I talk about is my preference.
Hopefully people can...
I think just buying it won't be enough we would have to hound them day and night about the problems if we ever wanted them fixed. Sales plus feedback might convince them.
Piracy and tantrum throwing won't.
With titles like Catherine and Dark Souls/ Dragons Dogma coming out its a good time to be importing hard fun good gameplay games. Hooray for no region locking games on Ps3 unlike PC over there.... (I love PC for GoG and old RTS/some new RPG's)
There is a certain truth to the example angry birds but certain game types work well on almost all platforms, especially when PC has access to controllers.
Driving games, Fighting games, platformers tend to be highly playable etc etc.
Or are we talking about graphical fidelity? Some lip...
As long as it plays well then it should be fine.
I am not against them fiddling with the options to make it playable.
I am against this notion that the game has to be different because we are special and our platform is special. I am saying that they don't have to do more than make the same...
The thing is I asked would you buy it for console if you didn't like the game in the first place why buy the port or is it a case of I only play on PC?
I am just confused as to why people might consider buying the game on PC just because its on PC.
I migrate to whatever platform is needed if...
