    Ways to go insane?

That's actually not a bad idea. Taking advantage of the physics we lacked back during the days of Eternal Darkness is a way to success. Another way you can mess with someone's head is have obvious forks in the road. For example: the right hallway has a message scribbled on the wall saying...

    Ways to go insane?

Having your weapon do nothing against enemies. Swing a sword? Phases right through them. Shoot at them? Bullets bounce off like rubber. This would probably work more with a sequence like Eternal Darkness', where it fades back to reality and you start off back at the beginning of the room...

3D Zombie MMORPG, would it work?

It's true. It is relatively pointless. Slap a story onto it, though... maybe server wide goals that lead to events...

3D Zombie MMORPG, would it work?

Dead Frontier already has a lot of good mechanics down: barricade doors and windows to prevent zombie swarms and give yourself a brief respite, scavenge for supplies, and next to no survivors. If you could apply that towards what you're asking for, I'd play it. Just expand upon those core...

It's been said before, and I'll say it again: Eternal Darkness 2.

    Poll: Bioshock 3

If it's a prequel, they're in for a challenge. As someone pointed out, we already have the Civil War going on in terms of B2's MP. Any time before that will be relatively... tame. There weren't even Big Daddies in normal production yet. Take Big Daddies away and you're already losing an icon...

mass effect 2: M57 Hammerhead DLC

If they were going to scrap the mineral gathering in a DLC, it wouldn't be free. Far as I'm concerned, anyway.

mass effect 2: M57 Hammerhead DLC

    Indeed, it's adding additional missions.

mass effect 2: M57 Hammerhead DLC

Far as I've heard, it'll be free. And no, it's not replacing the mineral gathering system. It's just there to add more variety and missions.

BioWare Co-Founder Accuses JRPGs of Stagnation

Ah, thank you very much! I had a sinking suspicion that would be the case. Again, thank you.

BioWare Co-Founder Accuses JRPGs of Stagnation

They've fallen behind their western equivalents in the... well, West. I never properly looked up the statistics, so can anyone tell me how WRPGs do in Japan? Might offer some insight into cultural taste and difference.

BioWare Co-Founder Accuses JRPGs of Stagnation

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks that. Anyway, is he wrong in his observation? Possibly. But he's just offering his opinion from his own experience. JRPGs have indeed lost a lot of steam in the West. But, to each his own. No matter what someone says, there are going to be JRPG lovers...

BioWare Co-Founder Accuses JRPGs of Stagnation

I think he's really only addressing how in a JRPG, the story is, usually, set in stone. Granted, some people absolutely love this. Others like the concept of choice. "Do I want to save that entire village, or leave it to rot and burn? Do I want to save the world, or conquer it? Do I even want to...
