Both are legends in their own right, but my vote goes to Carlin. The man embodies what good humor is about. It's about breaking boundaries. It's about challenging are perspective on life. It's about having a good time. Carlin wins for this reason.
I think of it more of like who Fry had left behind when he got hurled into the future. While the ending of Jurassic Bark is devastating, in my mind, is the thought that Fry can never truly appreciate that Yancey had decided to break all family traditions, and named his first born Philip in honor...
As a fan of the series, I pose this question to the Escapists in hopes of sparking discussion of the human condition. Two episodes that have been commented on constantly of the series are lauded as the saddest episodes in the show.
The first is Jurassic Bark, in which Fry discovers the...
Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope. It makes no sense for Link to potentially fail in defeating Ganon when its been his destiny to do it in almost every game. Do not like this timeline. I like the two timeline split theory better.
Agreed I think it works Cole and The King commenting granted I have a brief foray into matches commentating work for Good Ole J.R. Conflict is great in television, and there is probably some people out there who like Awesome Truth, and John Lorenitous (or however the hell is spelled).
I am conflicted I do think that X-III took way to long to make for what we got. But too make a new FF game every year? I don't think that's the problem. I think the Jimquisition said it best that Square should STOP announcing all of there games they have a teaser trailer for. Just announce one...
I tend to lean towards Single Player Games to the PS3, and more multiplayer focused games on my 360, but if I know a lot of my friends are playing a game on the PS3 it'll go there. Only exception is Mass Effect where it was 360 only then went to PS3 so when ME3 it's going on the 360 to finish my...
Trauma Center I bought the DS version when I bought my DS because it looked interesting to me, and I really enjoyed the challenge of the game so much in fact that I bought the Wii version of it which was just hard.
Toy Story 3 that damned Trash Compactor scene gets me every single time. I saw it with my girlfriend in theaters, we're at the scene and she turns over sees me and says "really?! It's a disney movie you know there going to make it" Well it don't change the fact that it tugs on the heart strings.
When even McDonald's won't take a shipment of meat, they take it to this repurposing facility where they convert all of the meat into this concoction which they say is chicken, but it never tastes like it, and whatever you do, don't ask for the fish...
