What happened with the RTS gentre ? Stagnancy mostly. Stuck in Starcraft and C&C for a long time the RTS genre became a lot less dynamic and while it's certainly there's something like Starcraft 2, at the same time. It's not really pushing the RTS genre, it's not challenging a lot of the old...

Sounds more like you got caught wrongfooted and then proceeded to make a bother of it and didn't bother to trying to actually deal with it. And the fact that apparently you're complaining ever so deeply about the Hotchkiss tank rather makes me say you might be a bit on the green side in the CoH...

I'd recommend Company of Heroes, the best RTS there is at the moment. It's fun, throws away some more archaic and silly RTS conventions, and if you know what you're doing, you can easily beat most spam tactics and opponent might throw at you. The community is solid and still going strong...

Arcanum 2 ! Without a doubt in my mind. Arcanum was the best RPG i ever played as far as i am concerned.

And here i thought it was a thread about the lack of Warhammer fantasy based games the only ones really being Mark of chaos which was decent at best (although i did quite enjoy it) and Warhammer online.. which just seemed bleh to me and not really tapping into the warhammer fantasy universe...
