Thank you. ZP still makes me smile once every so often, but I'm getting utterly sick of the "Well, Yahtzee says it's bad, might as well not even try the game out for myself" mentality that seems to pervade these forums.

I'm still amazed at the number of people here who base their game purchases on Zero Punctuation reviews. Do you own anything other than Psychonauts, Call of Duty 4 and Portal? Honestly. As for Fallout 3...it's drab, lots of brown and gray. Hence a terrible game.

First Zero Punctuation review in a while I've agreed with pretty much across the board. Lots of good ideas, none of which are ever given the attention they deserve. The controls are awful. I was honestly fighting them until my patience ran out and I stopped playing. Swing right analog this way...

In the end I have to put this review on the shelf beside its brothers, the Bioshock and Mass Effect reviews. Entirely valid points are made, but the flaws in question are hardly game-breaking. Still, given Nintendo's unfortunate penchant for remaking the same five or six games fifty times over...

...does anyone here *actually* base their game purchases on ZP reviews as they say? Please tell me that isn't the case. Anyway, funny review as always - particularly the "entertaining series of bum fights" - though I did like Indigo Prophecy more or less from start to finish.

Have to agree with this one. Turok was fairly bad. Not Turning Point bad, but mediocre enough not to waste more than an hour playing it. The controls are unresponsive, the screen blur when you take damage is overdone, the guns are weak almost to the point of uselessness and being knocked flat...

It's weird how these reviews tend to point out something that had occurred to me while playing the game just the night before. I thought it was pretty amusing that Chris Redfield in The Umbrella Chronicles, while staring at a huge spider, wonders where all the webs in this basement might come...

For the most part, I'm enjoying The Witcher, but come on. It has its flaws. The dialogue is often outright bizarre, the voice acting is awful and the protagonist (who ISN'T Elric - just some other lanky white-haired brooding antihero nicknamed White Wolf) earns sexy trading cards by sleeping...
