There are very few reviewers or youtubers who have as different tastes in videogames from me as Totalbiscuit. Inspite of that, and despite being first impression videos, he's still generally thorough enough that I find his videos useful; even if he spends a lot of time on crap I don't care...
While I'm not particularly hopeful, it's possible that he said that with the movie in mind, or that the movie will retread what's covered in the games.
Need more details about their approach before... not getting excited persay, but before I'd look forward to it. I mean, it seems like something that could work, and who's nature is such that I'd hope would lend itself to not getting screwed over the way normal videogame movies are. The base idea...
Given the way some of the discussion of the design has been, I figured I'd point out that the characters appearance seems to be heavily based on one of Blizzard's 3D Character Artists. Tamara Bakhlycheva specifically, who's been around for awhile and has been known to do a decent amount of...
I more or less like the character design, but I'll admit that I feel a bit beaten overhead with the fact that it's supposed to be diverse. Not so much by Blizzard, but by the internet at large, so that's hardly their fault. Aside from that, the only thing I have a problem with is that I feel...
Heh, bought this on GOG earlier today and it's a fun little game. Can't entirely shake the feeling that it might be tad more expensive then it should be, but that might be due to the fact that my computer overheated while playing it earlier and I'm still mildly annoyed even if it wasn't the...
Pet/Minion Classes whenever available and not nerfed into the ground. Which means pretty rarely, because most games don't include them, and when they do the pet aspect is almost always under-whelming and treated like an optional gimick where the meat of the class lies elsewhere.
On top of the all the great reasons people have listed, you can also add knowledge that Square Enix better served the fans of its series when it was Squaresoft and Enix.
I feel like some people are selling the game really short. It isn't just jump scares, it's the way you play the game. Constantly checking the camera, switching cameras, and checking the lights outside your doors? The way you play the game forces you to constantly flicker your focus from one...
Ya know, this brought to mind Putin and all his shirtless pictures. While I won't go as far as to say you can determine respect by what someones wearing, you can make some judgements based on when, where, how, and what they wear. If someone is wearing a flashy get-up that shows more than normal...
I feel like most of the people doing the reporting on the game's performance with the mod are using much better computers than I am, because when I tried the mod I noticed major performance issues . This doesn't surprise me really, as it makes more sense that AAA titles are in fact not optimized...
The multi-player mode is everyone playing as the protagonist. There is only the one character. It's co-op through the main story, where everyone plays the same character. I don't know how many times people need to say this. One. Set. playable. Character. In the entire game. Just the one.
From what I've heard, that line of code specifically effects consoles, so it makes sense not to care about it for the PC version.
*edit* I feel like it's very sad that I've been defending Ubisoft lately. I don't even like any of their fucking games.
