    The Ouya Scam

I'd like to say that I backed the OUYA, and I've had mine for months, and definitely before the retailers got it. The angry people are the minority, where whilst it's a shame, they have already emailed all backers to explain problems and why and that they apologise for the problems, but again...

Italian Amazon Reveal Hints At Next-Gen Mirror's Edge 2

To be honest I'd be lying if I said that I didn't have some fun with it. My problem is I came into it expecting something entirely different, I played the crap out of GRAW and GRAW2, and thought it would be like them. It's not that it wasn't a good game as such, it just didn't hold my attention.

Italian Amazon Reveal Hints At Next-Gen Mirror's Edge 2

Yeah that's pretty much what put me off, it's too fast paced now. But yeah - Rayman Origins and Far Cry 3 were fantastic, and I played the shit out of both of them :)

Italian Amazon Reveal Hints At Next-Gen Mirror's Edge 2

I agree with you there, the AC games are of amazing quality, but it just loses that spark. You remember that first massive dive off the top of a spire, but the next hundred will never leave the same impact. But of course that isn't the games fault. I was trying to think of an EA sequel...

Italian Amazon Reveal Hints At Next-Gen Mirror's Edge 2

I'm kind of against a Mirror's Edge sequel for the same reason. I loved Mirror's Edge (and even have a tattoo to prove it!), and I hoped they would keep it as the unique gem it is. The more sequels you make, the quicker it turns from something original and different to just the norm, just like...

Age of Empires 2 HD is broken, much anger is being felt

The only issue I've run into is the laggy multiplayer, where it stops and starts quite frequently, but that has subsided a bit over the last day. It's a shame so many people are having problems, as I'm really enjoying playing it again.

We fell way short (the future (2015)as envisioned in Back To The Future)

Well I think i'll just throw out the fact that we're right on track with what actual scientists predicted, and that what we have now is pretty damn fucking amazing. Moore's law is pretty much spot on, and as wikipedia said, the term was coined in 1970...

Mom just got you an iPhone for Christmas!

A thousand times this. I agree with you, other people in this thread are sounding a lot like spoiled teenagers at this point in time. I would hope i'd take an approach like this with my future children.

    Your Berserk Button

    - Theists thinking of themselves as some sort of all-knowing gurus who have seen the one and only truth and see it as their responsibility to convert others, because they're SLAVES OF EVIL DEVIL OMG!!!!1 lol, just kidding, I know what you mean, it was just funny the way you put it.

Minecraft Creator Won't Support Windows 8

I also use Windows 8, as a student I got early access - it's basically Windows 7 with a different start screen and behind the scenes optimisations that you won't even notice/care about. It's not another Vista, i'll put it that way. Probably not worth rushing to upgrade for, but there's...

So what is the advantage of a console?

I'm guessing your PC has some other underlying issues if you feel you have to reinstall your entire OS for a browser failure. You're wasting a lot of time if you reinstall the OS every time you get a small problem like that. 1 program crashes and you reinstall the entire system? Alot of...

Military Funeral Picketing partially banned, WBC are tools.

I don't think it's so much as "How can we stop them protesting?" but more "How can we let them make their point, through mutual respect and not hindering free speech?", moving them further away to 300ft or whatever it was in my opinion was the right thing to do, as it means they don't personally...

Military Funeral Picketing partially banned, WBC are tools.

I totally agree with you there, but there's a difference between protesting and personally harassing someone in public, if it's a funeral for any person, not just military personnel, and there's someone shouting about that person going to hell, surely that's more of a personal attack on that...

Military Funeral Picketing partially banned, WBC are tools.

Since your Constitution protects the right to free speech, i'd say they're free to say what they want to say, but it doesn't stop harassment being a crime. You can believe what you want and present those beliefs, but if someone says "leave me alone", you do just that.

Steam Expands Library to Non-Game Software

I hate to be picky, or maybe i'm reading this wrongly, but shouldn't that be "We need to sell our software ..."? - Unless publishers buy their own software for some reason. OT: I can see this being useful for some users, but all users at this point in time have signed up for Steam...
