I have no idea why people play WC3, I'll be perfectly honest. Maybe TD? That's been the only part of that game that's ever been enjoyable to me, but the answer is probably DotA.

Sniper, for the joy of saying "oh, hey, smoker! pop." or "oh, hey, hunter on the roof! pop." and one-shotting them. Ayup, nothing to compare to that.
