I think a good way to know if Windows 8 is a terrible idea is if the Activision CEO ends up being in favor of it, since he actively tries to undermine the gaming industry as hard as he can.

Ironic that someone from a developer that is absolutely terrible at porting games from console to PC would be all for a terrible idea. Then again used games aren't such an issue on PC.. but here's hoping none of these backwards thinkers try to do anything to Steam and their always running great...
