Candidate's Wife Questions Love Child Allegations

Since when did The Escapist abandon literary socialism and become a self-perpetuating tabloid? Is the advertising money from Zero Punctuation really having that much of an effect? This is like BrassEye, without being clever, deconstructionist or confronting. It's more than a little sad.

WH40K Roleplay Thread Ending; "Who Knew?"

Ophelia shook her head as she tapped at the interface, updating the ship's roster for perhaps the last time. "Maeror you fool, Vicky would cry if she could see you now." CREWMAN JAET GRANT :: CONVICTED CREWWOMAN PENELOPE GRANT :: CONVICTED MIDSHIPMAN HOLMES :: CONVICTED LIEUTENANT JONRAN...

WH40K Roleplay Thread Ending; "Who Knew?"

Ophelia cuts through the chatter with her soft voice. "There are only two options," she says plainly. "Either we destroy the demonhost, and sink further into damnation; or else we must quash this fear that makes men name their weapons and fondle them in the night. Brave warriors you all are, who...

Poll: Zero Punctuation: Do his words matter?

What Zero Punctuation does for me is highlight everything that is annoying or stupid in a game. Those two things are extremely important for me when deciding what to play. Most games have a level of fun to them, its what you have to endure to get to the fun that makes the difference.

"If we turn against each other, then some nefarious purpose has been served here. Thought is our greatest weapon, not violence."

The Unobtrusive Thread for Firefly and Stargate MMOs

Not so, Wash is far funnier, and the agent in the film is my favourite villain ever. Imagine being a Companion.

EDIT OOC: Hmm... This makes more sense if it is before Galt's post. Just pretend! Ophelia stares numbly at the ship's roster - at the long columns of friends and companions no longer present, their names struck-through as if to highlight the fact. Maeror's name glares at her - defiant. With...

::On The Bridge:: Ophelia fixes her gunner with a stern glance. "Is that what it has come to Maeror? The last of my crew questioning me? We are swimming with treacherous sharks here old friend. Best we just lock our doors and not interfere in Imperial affairs. We were deemed useful enough for...

Ophelia's face was grim as she sunk further into her seat, breathing a silent prayer. "I... I'd best update the manifest," she managed, before turning solemnly to her work.

    Screen names and Avatars

I used to always go under kid_a, for Radiohead reasons, but that was always taken so now I just use my real name. It's motivation to not be a dick, and the Internet without anonymity feels kind of cool. Since Google caches everything, maybe one day when I'm old I'll be able to look back and see...

::Whatever Room We Happen To Be In:: "...No more killing," Ophelia says quietly, but with a firm resolve. "The host is as much a human as we are, despite his terrible burden. Confronting the assassin and Killion were both grave mistakes, and we can nary afford another."

The War on Terror V 3.5.2 coming to a MMO near you!

Believe me, if there is a God, he hates Americans. The US are the most sophisticated international terrorists that ever were, largely because the CIA trained most of them. The west has religious extremists as well, we just have government funded invasions and economic sanctions to sate our...

WH40K Roleplay Thread Ending; "Who Knew?"

Ophelia stares at the ship's manifest, her red, puffy eyes moving slowly from the names of the victims to those of the accused. "There has to be a better way to go about this," she says, her voice wavering, before finally losing strength as she lapses into silence. OOC: I had a big weekend...

WH40K Roleplay Thread Ending; "Who Knew?"

::Back On The Bridge:: Ophelia exhales. How long had she been holding her breath? Her body aches from the tension of the past few hours, and the privateer finds herself longing for a bed she could guarantee waking from. With a deep breath in she engages the intercom, and her voice rings...
