I went to a religious primary school so we were taught all about christianity but it was never forced on anybody. In highschool we had religious education every year, but I managed to get myself kicked out of the class for mentioning another religion that is not Islam.

You could always play timesplitters with your friends. The main reason we don't have many splitscreen games these days is because of technical limitations, the systems simply can't run most games 4 times simultaneously with the exception of a few games. I can see it now.. "Back in my day...

Bosses with only one or two mechanics, I like multi-phase bosses that feel epic. Instant-kills or stunlock combos that you can not get away from are annoying too.
