I have to warn you: If you mean the July beta, the game is currently extremely different from what it was back then. If you've been playing the on-going multiplayer promotion, go ahead if you like it.

Don't forget that this is a European price. Americans always get their "USA Discount" for games. I mean, normal PC games cost us 50? ($70). This will most likely by $150 for you.

That is only an option to US and UK residents. Steam's Euro prices are a huge ripoff in every possible way. Also, the new Ubisoft games will be using the "must stay online" DRM even if you use Steam. Steam's offline mode won't help with ubisoft's DRM, it only gets past the Steamworks part.

Mafia Wars is just addicting. I don't even know why I play it, but seeing numbers go up can get addictive... that's why people play grindy Korean MMOs. The biggest flaw in MW (and probably other Zynga games) is its reliance on your friend count. You need 501 Facebook friends playing Mafia...
