This entire situation is why I am glad I got ME2 on PS3. They can't take away my access to the game with that version. They would have to explain to Sony why they are doing it and I doubt even Sony would see that as reasonable.
I seriously hope it is more than slightly. I hope the number of their games that is pirated jumps a great deal. Hell, I may do it just to spit in Bioware's face. It's their own fault for joining with a company that they knew had a bad rap with the gaming community.
It doesn't matter what he said on their forums. This is theft by EA and Bioware and absolute obliteration of any form of freedom of speech. This is why pirating is a good thing. If we pirate enough the DMCA will be brought down as will EULAs as legally binding contracts.
A EULA should never have started being considered a binding contract. The fact that it is gives companies way too much power and the ability to absolutely obliterate the US constitution.
TBQH, EA was like that long before Activision started doing it. They just started to act a little better when started getting a crapton of bad publicity. It seems that they no longer care about getting bad publicity now. Too bad for them when they start losing a buttload of money because of it.
This ain't right. I'm lucky that I haven't been banned yet for all the stuff I've said on their forums that insulted EA. I'm glad (sarcasm there) EA knows how piss off their customers and I'm doubly glad (super sarcasm there) Bioware joined up with them. I will never understand why Bioware...
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here because you apparently don't know what a sheep is. Your post essentially defined what a sheep is. Bob had an excellent reason for calling the people who went to see this excrement of a movie sheep.
