    What's Your Silent Hill 2?

    The album "A Love Supreme", by John Coltrane. The overwhelming force of the music, the intense soulfulness and beauty and raw force of the whole thing - it never diminishes. Every time I listen to it, I hear something new. Damn it's incredible. You just can't duplicate these things in a game.

    Best RTS?

    The best RTS I've ever played is a nearly forgotten gem called Sid Meier's Gettysburg. It was beautifully designed, beautifully executed. The AI is better than most big-budget strategy games now. Eleven years hasn't done much to diminish its win factor.

    Myst, anybody? After 10+ hours of running around those islands and solving puzzles, and saving Atrus' ass at the end, he simply rewards you by telling you that you're free to explore. Damn that sucked.
