"Zero fucks"... imaginative. Anyway, the feeling the between game companies and myself on that front is wholly mutual I assure you. But even if I started buying games, I doubt the feeling would change all that much.
I'm not bothered by the comment. People will think what they think. On top of that, since I only rent and not buy games, backwards compatibility means little to me. If I have any interest in the PS4 or Xbox One, it will be when they have a decent gaming library.
*laughs* Just reading the title alone, I knew the article was going to go over very smoothly with the PC gamers here. I realize this is a useless platitude but you guys shouldn't let articles or people like this rattle you. On the internet these days, they let anyone speak.
I completely agree with your opinion. There's a scene in the game where Elizabeth asks Booker how does he do it. How does one forget and wash away the things they've done. Booker says you don't. You just learn to live with it. It would of been much better if the game ended on that note. One of...
I didn't like the Synthesis ending. It felt far too easy for me. After three games of struggling, fighting and sacrificing to unite alien races after centuries of distrust, discrimination and war it just came down to nothing more than Shepard sacrificing his or herself to bring about peace not...
I never buy at launch. I bought a slim PS2, have a slim PS3 and won't buy the PS4 for at least a year or two less a very good price comes around. Plus my PS3 can do so much more than play games so for the interim, I need not do a thing.
As the Luteces said, it's a matter of perspective. To me, Booker's choice to give up Anna for instance made all the difference in the world. It certainly made a difference in her life. In any case, can't people just enjoy the journey? Speaking for myself, no. I enjoyed the journey of Bioshock...
I still don't understand the point of this comparison. It would be better to compare the PS4 to the PS3, Xbox 360 or the newest Xbox console. Comparing it to a PC is just a pointless exercise. A "current gaming PC" is consistently upgradeable and can be almost if not completely customized. It...
I agree and disagree with you. Agree with you because when something is truly innovative, it is often criticized for not being like everything else. Disagree with you because I feel that is how this recent rebooted Tomb Raider was criticized; for not being the game it was 17 years ago which...
I had no problem understanding why Lara would risk herself for Sam. Other than being her best friend and someone she knew throughout college (which was more than enough for me), it was clear that Roth and Sam were the only people in the group that Lara really opened up to. When she had her...
That's why I didn't like the ending, because I did find and paid very close attention to the voxophones and the game itself which was why Booker being Comstock wasn't a major revelation to me once I played the game. Kinda got slapped in the face with it so many times, I had to seriously wonder...
The subtle difference between Booker and Comstock and Fitzroy for that matter is that, Booker is very aware of his flaws as a person. Comstock and Fitzroy aren't. Those voxophones and their actions... they put themselves up on pedestals as avatars of righteous causes justifying their equal...
I was only that disappointed with the ending. The last twist in the ending was the first and far too obvious twist in the beginning. Plus these ambiguous endings are becoming commonplace which really doesn't make me think. No point in conjuring up an ending that will always have holes in it.
