I started with small guns and had Lincoln's Repeater and a sniper rifle, but eventually I ended up maxing Energy weapons too just for the Gauss Rifle (from Operation Anchorage). While it may make a lot more noise than a silenced Reservist's Rifle, it does so much damage that it makes up for it...
