My favorite has to be from Time Slip for the SNES. The game was sorta like contra, but weirder. You had to go back in time to stop Aliens from killing humanity in the past when their weapons sucked. If you died, you'd get: Mission Failure You were never born.... The earth becomes Tiamat...
