In all fairness the fast-travel feature is there for the casual who prob hasnt played any of the elder scrolls, it's not forced upon anyone. However, just knowing that it's there can make even the most hardcore fan cheat thier way out of a journey. Here, have a look at this...

There's a menu option to turn off the clue indicator, making it so you have to search for clues the old fasion way. Use that and turn off auto aim and the game will suddenly become challenging.
