I seem to remember a trailer for DMC4 that made a joke about DMC2 not really happening, so I'm surprised Capcom would even spend the funds to make an HD version of it.
DMC3 is absolutely my favorite of the series, so I'm looking forward to playing through that again!
I think my favorite female character in any JRPG is Selan from Lufia II. It's been a long while since I played it, but I remember her being strong and capable without being written into any stereotypes.
That game was so awesome. I think it was one of the finest SNES games made but hardly...
You know, I would be pretty surprised if they are inviting a bunch of journalists JUST to announce an XBLA version, which wouldn't be that big of a deal in my opinion.
My money is on a sequel (but maybe they will announce XBLA PVZ as well).
I live in the US and I only heard small glimpses here and there when previews would pop up on various sites. It really didn't seemed to be pushed hard at all.
That said, this is one the best games I've played in a long time and would have been a top contender for my favorite game of 2009 if...
I'll admit that he's right about the combat in that the only button you "need" is X but in my opinion the combat is really as fun as you make it. Even though you can get by with just pressing X it is a lot more fun to utilize all the moves in your arsenal.
The only problem is that they don't...
I would hardly call this a GoW clone though. Yeah, it's 3rd person action-adventure where you collect currency off of dead enemies...who honestly thinks this is a unique feature of GoW? If anything, Devil May Cry was doing this 4 years before GoW came around.
I would say this is much closer...
Oh man, I love it!
EA is doing some pretty neat things, but it's frustrating to see them doing things like closing Pandemic in the same week...
This is the second post I've seen recently that confuses Activision with EA. Activision deserves the hate, EA is redeeming itself.
MAN OH MAN, this is completely out of left field but AMAZING news!
Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals deserves to be up there with the likes of Chrono Trigger and FFVI.
Heh, yeah, Kamelot is great but I guess the whole "opera" vocals turns some people off. Dream Theater is probably the most well-known of those bands but they probably aren't as accessible as some of the others I listed.
There are actually a ton of metal bands that have very melodic vocals over a heavy instrumental section.
The instrumental style of this Metroid Metal stuff would actually fit pretty squarely into a genre a lot of people call "progressive metal"...
I fail to see, no matter how bad it was, how it could "ruin" them. As others have pointed out this wouldn't have any financial impact on Squarenix and now they are just looking at bad PR.
I don't see why they couldn't just ask them to have a huge disclaimer at the start of the ROM: "This game...
That was my first thought too, it looks like it's from PS2/X-Box generation. Mass Effect on the 360 looked incredible, this looks like trash.
If they are trying to get people excited about a game why would they show trailers that make the game look like garbage (graphics-wise)? I would think...
