"Halt! You two aren't fire nation." shouted the young man, raising a wall of earth in front of him, just before finding Anish's chakram bury itself in it.
"If what you say is true, then perhaps I'm already too late to act on the information you desire."
Hearing Nauja and the soldier's call...
"A fire nation spy!" Was the young man's cry as his foot lurched forward to stomp the ground, causing Anish to immediately perform an evasive manoeuvre the moment he felt the slightest hostility in the air. Just about in time, for as soon as an earthen pillar shot up from beneath where he had...
At first it seemed like the young man would be compliant, relaxing his stance as he struggle to recall details about the events which transpired not even twenty hours ago. His mind seemed hazy. Whether it was an extended result of his exhaustion, a side-effect of Nauja's healing methods, or a...
As Anish approached the hill where he had been pointed towards, he felt the earth beginning to shake beneath his feet, before being shortly followed by a loud *THUD* and the sound of cracking branches.
He must be close... he thought as he began to quicken his pace to the hilltop, only to come...
I'm cautiously optimistic about this one. I love SourceFed and Trish, but I struggle to see how she will fit into the Escapist as it is now.
Glad to have bright new talent joining the site regardless, and I hope to happily be proven wrong.
Getting the band back together I see? It really HAS been a long time hasn't it...
I'm debating on whether to submit a new or modified char sheet, will post soon regardless.
Anish awoke early to the sound of knocking on the bedroom door.
The night before he had headed straight for the longing embrace of bed; exhausted from his long travels and the constant shadowing of the young soldier's group, he had parted amicably from Nauja, whom he had presumed felt the...
"Yes, I'll let you know first thing." Anya said smiling assuredly at Anish. Something about her kind nature put him at ease. Secure in the knowledge that he'd be notfied (and trusting her position as a prominent figure in the village) Anish set off in the direction of the inn. That was just...
Upon arrival at the village the pair were quickly greeted by an old, kindly looking woman in a green dress who introduced herself as the local herbalist, before immediately beginning to treat the boy-soldier with a pungent concoction after Nauja gave her approval.
"Oh my... I've never seen...
"I was passing through when I came across the battlefield. This guy is still alive, so I was planning to take him somewhere safe when you stopped by. That's pretty much it."
"So she really did just happen to be nearby..." Anish thought as he relaxed.
He didn't mistrust the girl's words...
The unexpected noise caused the girl to spin around in surprise. She seemed to let down her guard when she saw his garb; something that would have been ill-advised had Anish actually wanted to harm her.
"The battle's over, but as long as you're here, you might as well help me get this guy to...
The gentle winds rushed passed Anish as he hung from the wings of his glider, sailing silently through the sky. Obscured by the glare of the sun the red kite made the perfect reconnaissance vehicle, with those below presumably unaccustomed to the Air Nomad's device, they would likely dismiss...
Whoops, didn't see that. I just didn't notice any other particularly large settlements outside Ba Sing Se near in the North of the Kingdom :/ Happy to change if you want.
By the way, got a time-frame of when you expect to get things started?
Just posting to notify that I completed my sheet. If the Ultimate is a still a point of contention I'm more than happy to just make it a defensive response (eg. a shield) to stress much like everybody else's.
Pretty much. By manipulating the air currents surrounding it he can pretty much use it as a super sharp boomerang (think Captain America's shield), with the benefits of being able to combine it's use into certain moves. i.e. air shields, air blades and the like.
By the way I'd appreciate your...
