It's all about personal preferance! People who say PS3 is better than Xbox, or Pc is better than PS3 are all morons... At the end of the day, the ideal platform to play on is interpreted by the individual player. Basically, they're all the same! Yes PC's can have better graphics, yes Xbox's have...
I myself wouldnt be too bothered by this, because I have a 60Gb hard drive on my Xbox. However for the people who only have the arcade version, it would cause a serious problem because they wouldnt be able to install it...
I am genuinely so happy that this has happened!! EA didn't play fairly with some of the things that they said (they were being cocky bullies), whereas Activision haven't really resorted to EA's petty taunts...
I'm currently in a games development course too, but only 1 of my lecturers actually plays games regularly... the other three just played Pacman once around 30 years ago... You would of thought that they'd actually have to know about the subject to teach it but no... apparently not.
I'm 17 and im going trick-or-treating this year, so no he isnt too old... xD If something is fun, then do it. Age shouldn't influence whether you do or not.
When attempting to get the 'Mile High Club' achievement on Call of Duty 4, I spent around 3 hours of failing at it, and then on one attempt I got to the last enemy whom is practically impossible to not kill, and the mission randomly restarted with no reason to... The timer was still at around 7...
At the end of the day, if a game is enjoyable to players, then its worth playing it. So thats why i'm hyped about MW3... The campaigns are always action packed and compelling. Additionally the multiplayer has a great deal of 'replayability', so in my eyes Call of Duty games are worth while.
I agree that the quicksave feature was a handy tool, but I didn't like Exodus anywhere near as much as oddysee. It felt as if they had run out of ideas, and there weren't any new interesting enemies, however it still had the original formula of: being fun + simple + gimicky, and well presented.
Abes Oddysee is definatley my choice... It was the first game I ever actually played and it was unlike any other game at the time. Also, Abe was a very likable character so I was partly drawn into the story-line, even though it wasnt exactly detailed and in-depth...
I would buy AC revolutions myself, but the AC games all seem to have no innovation at all... they are too alike to one another and don't seem to have many new features.
