...shallow characters? Seriously? I'll give you the other points, but every character in this game was completely fleshed out. That's pretty much what was great about it, in fact.

Heres one: Always play on Medium mode or higher; easy is for pussies, even if you can't beat anything else.

Final Fantasy Tactic. Yeah, I really can't stand the combat no matter HOW much I want to...and I really do want to. I'd love to stick with the game long enough to get all of the story, but after about 10 battles, I just give up.

Oh, yes, I forgot to mention Strategy RPGs. I'm not talking about RTSes; I've never really played any of those. No, I mean Final Fantasy Tactics, Disgaea, etc. While I love the above games for their stories, I just don't like the battle systems they use. I always stop playing those games...

Let me attempt to debunk your theory. Silent Hill. That was easy. Also, all Spyro games not made by Insomniacs were terrible, possibly excepting that new series with Cynder....I've never played it.

Chibi-Robo. Not that the game's entirely unknown, but people forgot about it a couple of days before launch, which is a bit disappointing. It's one of those games that falls in the classic trap: it's not mainstream enough young gamers and it's "too childish" for older gamers...which is not...

I'll recommend Earthbound and MOTHER 3 as soon as the people at Nintendo get their collective heads out of their asses. Untill then, you should just follow the suggestions that everyone else has made.

Nope, can't say I do. Which is probably at least part of the reason why I suck so much in online FPS games.
