Really enjoying these 8 bit Philosophys. Just wish they were a bit longer/ bit more indepth in the philosophy, but simultaneously understand that not everyone exactly knows much about these topics offhandedly.
Greg, gotta say, while I don't agree with the 5/5, I DEFINITELY agree and love what you've written in the full review. Might I suggest considering switching from a star metric to a "complete/finish/play/pass" one? That way you don't have to abstract it so much?

Really love taking a game where there isn't much more to it than fighting in the core gameplay concept, and making a game of your own design within the world's rules. Kudos Jim, Yahtzee.
While I personally agree with the sentiment, I think it would be far more effective to make it so you can't pop up and down into crouches over a corpse in quick succession, rather than make them unable to crouch over a corpse, period. It smacks of heavy-handedness when a much lighter touch would...
They are a game that fits within the interactive story form genre. 'Game' is the broadest catagory ever, within which you must subdivide into the genres and subgenres to get a more functional definition for communication. :)
Very well written, Mr. Keefer. And I don't for one moment blame you for keeping one of those bomber jackets, because it can be terribly expensive to get those of a decent quality. I just hope you disclosed it if you reviewed the piece that got you the jacket you kept. :)
