I have a feeling I will probably buy Sims3 sometime down the road but as with my transition from Sims1 to 2, it probably won't be for a while. I just don't see the point. When I run out of things that are interesting to play with or run out of ideas of screwing with my Sims I'll get the new one...

I don't think you should underestimate the power [stupidity?] of a horde of socially retarded teens and their mothers. The story had the narrative potential to be good, except the author turned it into soft-porn for teens with a splash of paedophilia.

Kameo on the 360. I picked it up for $17 expecting to get a game for my younger cousins but I've played it so much, it's incredibly fun, and quite challenging on hard mode. Also, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath was an awesomely fun game on the original Xbox although I don't think its backwards...

The Phantom. Mainly because it looks silly while riding a horse but a little bit because you could see Billy Zane's assests... (Also there are many 'purple' jokes to be had.)

I can't really contribute to the question posed by the OP because I think powerful/independent women are great and I think that every woman should aim to achieve this on some level in their lives - not agressively or in a man-eating sense but the kind of personal power that lets you be happy...

Again, Spore. It was fun for a few hours. Really disappointing considering I still have Sims2 installed.
