Actually it's console-gaming that is dying, or evolving into pc-gaming. Or even, both of them are evolving into something else.
This whole dying thing is not the proper way of talking about it.
Jedi Knight 1 did the good/bad ending well in my opinion. Though of course it was simplistic execution in retrospect, but both endings were satisfying enough.
