After watching the video of the front door scene it confirmed that is was resident evil! I mistook it for a dinosaur when I was younger I guess. Thank you again so so much! Cause I before didn't see anything about a front door scene in resident evil, but now I know there is! ^_^

There was this (I'm guessing it was this genre since it had zombies in it) horror game for the ps1 I believe set in a mansion. It had a dark atmosphere from what I remember. When I walked through a door to this one room, around the corner there was a zombie eating a body and then turns around...
