Okay, I'll give it a shot then. Nah, ours didn't. We just use the default software that was already on the laptops. The laptop that I'm using now didn't even require set up for the router when I got it, which puzzles me. The laptop has worked on my network, yeah.

Yes, it's the same software that originally came with Windows. I don't have another software that I know of that can allow me to connect to the internet. It usually connects automatically. Not sure about the card, but I know it's definately not a USB wireless.
