In my opinion a nerf is when they decrease the effectiveness of something that legitimately needed fixing. Gimp on the other hand refers to a situation where a perfectly legitimate style of game play is broken down or completely removed because of whiners.

I never touched a FF game until FFXIII, and i quit that AFTER the grindfest area. The Dreamcast was one of the best consoles released, and was way ahead of its time. I haven't enjoyed a Zelda game since OoT. Goldeneye is the ONLY good console FPS.
