So far, all of my choices have been selected in this thread except for one:

I actually had this conversation with a RL friend yesterday. I decided that once the new university year hits that I am giving up Video gaming in favour of reading and focusing on studies. If I want fun, I'll play more piano or go out with my friends.
I always seem to have the Punch-out fight song in my head along with Wind Crest from Final Fantasy X-2 (Piano version).

No hate involved actually. That is my actual way of getting over a terribly loss at a game. If you want a game related solution, then mine would be simply switching to a different genre of game.
