Favorite Experimental bands at the moment

Pretty simple, same as subject (God, I'm getting lazy with these posts). The Sound of Animals Fighting This Town Needs Guns Meet Me In St. Louis Slint Smallhouse (Side note: Check these guys out at http://smallhousebgky.bandcamp.com/album/the-sammy-ep for free. Do it, you won't.) Circle...

If you could start a band, who'd be in it?

Dude, I saw Nathan and just started laughing my ass off. So funny. Good choices, too.

If you could start a band, who'd be in it?

I'm surprised more people haven't had Les, Devin or Mike in their "bands".

If you could start a band, who'd be in it?

This is probably the first post where I like every band and person who someone listed. Nice.

If you could start a band, who'd be in it?

Dude, none of the people I chose are famous, Anthony Green being the most well known, and none of them are jerkoffs to my knowledge. Funny, though.

If you could start a band, who'd be in it?

Personally, lose Myles and that would be very awesome. Not a fan of his vocals. I'd go with Chris Cornell (Soundgarden, Audioslave) or Rich Balling (RX Bandits, The Sound of Animals Fighting) on vocals, personally.

If you could start a band, who'd be in it?

Same as subject, so pretty simple. For me, I would have Anthony Green of Circa Survive on vocals, Asher W. of Piglet on Guitar, Andrew Forsman of The Fall of Troy on Drums, Arif Mirabdolbaghi of Protest the Hero on Bass and myself on Guitar/vocals (I had some more outside choices, like Tim &...

Progressive Rock & Post-Hardcore: Why they work and how.

Yeah, a bit. I'm actually surprised anyone posted on this.

Progressive Rock & Post-Hardcore: Why they work and how.

A preface: Back in 2009 when I was getting very passionate about music, the only bands or musicians I would willingly listen to were Progressive types, which is why I primarily only listened to Progressive Metal. Yes, at one time I thought bands of the likes of Cynic were the best thing in the...

Progressive Death Metal: What the Fu-?

Yeah, not a fan of it by itself either.

Progressive Death Metal: What the Fu-?

Not hate, just a personal issue. I still like Prog-Metal and mainstream music is really watered down now. Pop music (Read; Simple music) isn't necessarily in decline, in my opinion anyways. Cool answer(s). Thanks.

Progressive Death Metal: What the Fu-?

Okay, the only thing I can say at this point is this;Yes, some of the things I've said have been hyperbolic. I realize I don't know what these musicians were thinking about during the writing process. Yes, mixing two genres that couldn't be farther apart in style is original(when executed well)...
