The first ninja gaiden had no dismemberment what do ever (except decapitations on fiends), In my opinion it's the best in the series. I found the gore mechanics in ninja gaiden 2 to hinder the overall gaming experience... honestly, sometimes I couldn't tell what was dead and what was about to...

I for one am quite excited about the release of Ninja Gaiden 3 as the series has been one of my favourites for a few years now. After finding a review on inentertainment I was rather shocked at how many people are choosing to boycott this game due to the fact that there is no dismemberment...

Jrpgs are my favorite type of game and I understand where your coming from when you say some of them have their problems For me, three JRPGS really nailed the formula Valkyrie profile 2 The characters were great (especially Alicia whos personality evolved as the story progressed)...
