For me, it was picking up Shepard's Crossing at a pawn shop. The back of the case made it look like some cross between Harvest Moon and a turn based RPG. Liking both of those things, I bought it. I was soooooo wrong.

Uhh... one. Pokemon Snap. Beat it in one to two hours.

Dragon Quest 9: Sentinels of the Starry Skies. I could swing being a Minstrel/fallen angel thing. I could just grind on Slimes for a few days before moving on. Grinding is much more fun when you actually get to swing a sword.

Deus Ex, Legend of Dragoon, Shadow Hearts 1 and 2, Legend of Legaia, uhh... That's about it, really, except some stuff on the SNES that might be better off in those era of graphics.

Shepard's Crossing was a little piece of... nothing, for me. It was the worst thing I ever played solely due to the fact that I couldn't bear more than 30 minutes of it. Every other game I've ever played I've played for at least 3 hours before giving up.
