Maybe, it helps sure. Repetition is the true downfall of a game. I swear the amount of taxi missions in gta4.....assasins creed pick pocket-interogate-eaves drop-save citizen-assassinate repeat.....These are great games dont get me wrong but geezzzz.

System Shock 2 with the degradation of weapons, freaky ghosts, sweet selection of weapons upgrades, terminal hacking etc excellent game hooked for days. Bioshock was good but it was a bit dumbed down with a few things (underwater city no harpoon cannons!!!). Best of the Best for me is Half Life.
