    I would say MegaMan Battle Network, but neither is it point-and-click, nor is any entry on PC (Without a Game Boy Advance or DS emulator)

    Isn't that Fate? I loved that game, but it used to crash when I tried to install the full game.

    I remember one game I played a lot about 8-10 years ago, but don't know the actual title. It was oneither Windows 95 or XP, I always called it 'Ant Shooter', and it was a third-person shooting game where you played as a humanoid ant with a gun of some sort, fighting... Slugs? I remember them...
